Houston author Mike Vance will shine a light on some dark days in Houston history. Learn about infamous crimes in the Bayou City from a young Clyde Barrow to the Man Who Killed Halloween. Houston’s past is filled with bloody tales, heartbreaking loss, and despicable deeds that shocked our community and left Houstonians terrified. Mike Vance will not only provide some fascinating information, but will display many photographs from this seedy side of Houston’s history.

Learn about the back room deals and the dome that almost was not. Houston showman, Judge Roy Hofheinz, led the creation an engineering marvel that captured the world’s attention and put the new, modern Houston on the map!
